General Redirection & Management

Q: How do I access the analytics dashboard for my short links?
If you create a link while signed in via Google OAuth, your shortened URLs are automatically aggregated on your central Dashboard for instant tracking. If you generate a link anonymously, the system provides a unique Monitor Key. You can view live statistics by navigating to your_short_url/your_monitor_key.

Q: What are the requirements for a Custom Alias?
A custom alias must be between 5 and 15 alphanumeric characters (letters and numbers only). It cannot contain spaces or special characters, and cannot match our system-reserved words or trigger our automated profanity filters.

Security & Advanced Options

Q: How does password protection work?
When a link is password-gated, visitors will see a secure unlock screen. They must provide the correct password before our server processes the 302 redirect. To enforce high security, passwords must be 8–20 characters long and include at least one letter, one number, and one special character.

Q: What happens when a link hits its click limit or expires?
The moment a link passes its expiration timestamp or matches its maximum click count, it is instantly deactivated. Subsequent visitors are automatically routed to a clean 410 Link Expired status page.
